Rock Drop Canyon

Drop in to Rock Drop Canyon for an exhilarating adventure! Perfect for larger parties or for those who may be hesitant about going on a longer canyoneering trip, Rock Drop is a short but beautiful canyon featuring two rappels over 100 feet! Spectators are welcome to join the scenic jeep ride to the canyon without participating in the rappelling. Remember to stay hydrated, wear sturdy shoes, and bundle up during cooler months. The route to and from the canyon is a scenic jeep experience with views of Zion National Park’s backcountry. Don’t miss this short, stunning canyon in Zion National Park’s breathtaking backcountry! This tour departs from Zion Ponderosa.

Stone Hollow Canyon

Canyoneering in East Zion

This one is epic! Stone Hollow is a full-day Zion canyoneering adventure with 10 rappels—including a thrilling 100-foot descent! Participants should be in good physical shape for the 6-mile hike. If you’re not ready for a full-day adventure, check out our Coral Sands Canyon or Crimson Canyon options below!

Coral Sands Canyon

Canyoneering in fall with East Zion Adventures

Check a bucket list item off your list! This half-day canyoneering adventure near Zion National Park will have you hiking, climbing and rappelling through East Zion’s slot canyons. Your guide will keep you safe on this beginner-friendly adventure as you navigate your way through red rock canyons and five rappels. The longest descent is 70 feet! This tour departs from Thunderbird Resort or Kanab.

Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure

Crimson Canyon

Crimson Canyon Hike and UTV tour is an unforgettable adventure. A thrilling UTV ride leads to a private slot canyon, where you’ll scramble over boulders and navigate through narrow slot canyon walls up to 100 feet high and just 6-10 feet apart. Guides share interesting local Native American lore while helping you navigate obstacles. This is a weather dependent adventure, as pools of water may form after a rainstorm. This tour departs from Orderville.

White Mountain Horseback Ride

This tour combines two of Zion’s most popular activities: slot canyons and horseback riding. Safe and captivating, this adventure lets you ride to the canyon and dismount for exploration. It’s a blend of multiple adventures in one, enhancing your East Zion getaway with unforgettable memories!

Know Before You Go

We recommend bringing at least two liters of water and wearing sturdy hiking shoes on all of our canyoneering adventures.
