Observation Point and Cable Mountain have become somewhat of hidden gems, as the trailheads from inside the park are closed. Take our shuttle from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the Observation Point Trailhead via the East Mesa Trail, or the Cable Mountain Trailhead via Stave Springs Trail. No need to worry about damaging your vehicle, or if you will be able to find parking at this stunning trail–we’ve got you!
*Please note: in the instance of heavy rain or snow, we will drop off and pick up about 0.5 miles from the trailhead to avoid damaging the road.
Each party will book a departing time. Return shuttles will need to be booked with the drop off driver.

*We do not guide these hikes; we only provide transportation from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the Observation Point/East Mesa Trailhead and back, or the Cable Mountain/Stave Springs Trailhead and back. Reservations must be made in advance.
Much of the trail is not shaded, so make sure you have plenty of water. It is 6.5 miles round trip for Observation Point, and 7.7 miles round trip for Cable Mountain.
High clearance and 4 wheel drive is recommended if hikers choose not to use this shuttle. Additionally, parking at the trailheads is extremely limited and often not available.
